One of those long blogs: My Live below the line Challenge/Experience

Image
(Challenged undertaken on the 5.5.14) I was always told about this challenge and at some point to be honest I didn't want to join in. Why? I don't know, maybe it was the fear of not being able to complete the challenge. But this time around, this awesome guy by the name of Caleb Meakins and his Amazing Team introduced this challenge again through their Facebook page called:  SHIFT . This time my perspective was different. What had changed? My attitude. It was no longer a fear of not being able to complete the challenege, but more about actively making a difference in the world we live in each day. I had always wanted to do an outreached/mission trip to Africa and places classfied as poverty striken but never really had the finances to go. Incase you didn't know anything about this LBTL movement, check out this video below: http://vimeo.com/91699932...

So let me explain how this all comes together: When reading my introduction, you might have felt depressed or even could relate to a few things I had said. The heart of this blog came from the announcements I tend to frequently hear at the train (metro) station coming into ...

The Storm is OVER, Can I enjoy my life now please? I bet many of you would love to be saying this right about now. But for some of you the reality is this: There comes a time in life when it seems like your back is pushed against the wall, you throw your hands up and say: ok, ok, enough now, no more . Everything has just been thrown at you and you think, please Lord, no more, I can't take it . It almost makes you feel like you are in a circus, assigned a new role: Lady Juggler - As each problem arises you try and deal with each one as much as you can, but then a next ball of problems or issue surfaces, if its not your job, its about your finances, if its not about your finances, its then about your relationships, family issues, health and so forth. To top it all off, someone throws you another ball of their own problems, to only confuse your flow of somewhat trying to endure your own pain. At this point you acknowledge you not only don't have the strengt...
