I know who I am

For some of you reading this, you may look at the title of this blog and say that's the most simplest, dumbest thing to say Faith. Of course you should know who you are, right? Wrong! To me those four words are the most precious, heartfelt, revelation, inspiring, encouraging words I could ever say to myself and hear others say about themselves too. For many of years I had battled with trying to find out what my identity was. I knew all the facts and figures: born into an African family, one of the two girls, three brothers, mum and dad and the list goes on, obvious FACTS. But the truth was that in the mist of all this I still didn't really know who I was and from that I somewhat was easily able to be swayed into trying others identity through the way they talked, dressed or behaved and only to see if it was something I was into or wanted to adapt to, to say, yes, finally I have arrived, 'this is me'. But I was not alone. There where other ladies who felt the sam...

"Here, Take My Hand"

" Here, take my hand and let me walk with you ." How often do you hear people say this to you? How often is a hand given to you to reach out for? The crazy thing about this, is that such a great gesture is always offered through Jesus Christ, but yet still, many refuse to make and take that small action or step to receive it. We fight the very opportunity to live again and breathe new air instead of contaminated fuels of life struggles, battles, sickness, hurt or pains. The sad thing is that we then become the ones who loose out. But through taking the hand that helps, comforts and supports, brings out the beauty of being RESTORED and truly LOVED . Alongside God's major hel...

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from ourselves, it is the gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast." Ever wondered how and why you are blessed to see another day? Or is it just a normal routine that you feel you blend into: go to sleep and just wake up to see another new day? For me, its more than that. When you hear the statistics of people not waking up in a day, or families where tragic things happen overnight. It makes you stop and think. Wait a minute that could have happened to me or my family....And to tell you the truth, things like that have happened in my household before. But thanks be to God for healing and being able to see other peaceful days. It gets to a point where you can say freely,  'I am actually grateful and blessed to see another day' and just smile with it. God's grace is truly amazing. When we do wrong and normally beat ourselves up about it, its always g...
