I know who I am

Image
For some of you reading this, you may look at the title of this blog and say that's the most simplest, dumbest thing to say Faith. Of course you should know who you are, right? Wrong! To me those four words are the most precious, heartfelt, revelation, inspiring, encouraging words I could ever say to myself and hear others say about themselves too. For many of years I had battled with trying to find out what my identity was. I knew all the facts and figures: born into an African family, one of the two girls, three brothers, mum and dad and the list goes on, obvious FACTS. But the truth was that in the mist of all this I still didn't really know who I was and from that I somewhat was easily able to be swayed into trying others identity through the way they talked, dressed or behaved and only to see if it was something I was into or wanted to adapt to, to say, yes, finally I have arrived, 'this is me'. But I was not alone. There where other ladies who felt the sam...

"Which status are you: 'Wife or 'Desperate Wife'?"

I think it is fair to say that each lady is either in or has been in both these categories, if not still in either one today. So let me explain what I mean by the two status: 'Wife' and 'Desperate Wife'. The 'Wife' (W) status : She is a lady that already has the mindset of a wife, she is not married as of yet, but is prepared to be. She has PATIENCE and is content with where she is and where she is heading. Then you have the 'Desperate Wife' (DW) status:  No she is nowhere near the stereotypical TV sitcom 'Desperate Housewife'  but she is also a lady too, however the word 'desperate' says it all. Any man that shows her any attention...

"Here, Take My Hand"

" Here, take my hand and let me walk with you ." How often do you hear people say this to you? How often is a hand given to you to reach out for? The crazy thing about this, is that such a great gesture is always offered through Jesus Christ, but yet still, many refuse to make and take that small action or step to receive it. Taking the hand of God does not mean, you will be lost, alone, beaten, starved, hurt or caused pain. It means you will NOT be alone , you will be FREE , you will be LOVED , CARED for and most of all FORGIVEN . At times, we fight the very thing that brings life to our souls. We fight the very opportunity to live again and breathe new air instead of contaminated fuels of life struggles, battles, sickness, hurt or pains. The sad thing is that we then become the ones who loose out. But through taking the hand that helps, comforts and supports, brings out the beauty of being RESTORED and truly LOVED . Alongside God's major hel...
