Finally I See

Philippians 2:14 'Do all things without complaining or arguing...' Isn't it funny how we can step out of bed, and instantly complain before our day even begins. Or are you the one that has an amazing day indoors, but until you step outdoors, walk into your work building, prepare lunch, dinner etc you open your mouth and then the complaining begins? I think we  can   all agree with the fact that we shouldn't be complaining amount many things that we tend to complain about these days. Task See if any of these complaints sound familiar to you:   If it is not about the weather, we complain about our look, if its not about our look for the day,week, month, it will be about someone chewing so loud on the train, bus or in the canteen, if its not our kids running around or constantly asking questions, its our mums or little sisters/brothers calling us to take them somewhere or pick them up. How many of these complaints rang a bell in your world? ...

A few months back I wrote a blog titled: Oh You Single Women! In that blog I explained my own experiences of being single and also what I thought being single meant, especially in relation to finding myself. So in this blog, I am taking a similar approach with an extra few bits and bobs here and there to add. So lets call this, part 2 of part 1: Oh You Single Women. I will most likely be putting myself on blast and answering some questions that others may have for me like: 1) I'm I single, 2) In a relationship? 3) Courting 4) Interested in anyone etc. Ha ha ha, so lets see how this goes, but remember its not all about me... " Here, take my hand and let me walk with you ." How often do you hear people say this to you? How often is a hand given to you to reach out for? The crazy thing about this, is that such a great gesture is always offered through Jesus Christ, but yet still, many refuse to make and take that small action or step to receive it. Taking the hand of God does not mean, you will be lost, alone, beaten, starved, hurt or caused pain. It means you will NOT be alone , you will be FREE , you will be LOVED , CARED for and most of all FORGIVEN . At times, we fight the very thing that brings life to our souls. We fight the very opportunity to live again and breathe new air instead of contaminated fuels of life struggles, battles, sickness, hurt or pains. The sad thing is that we then become the ones who loose out. But through taking the hand that helps, comforts and supports, brings out the beauty of being RESTORED and truly LOVED .
