There have been many times when I have tried to be like other people.  Growing up I have had many types of influences around me both good and bad. But either way I have never really wanted to be myself! Why? I don't 100% know. I guess for me I always thought that trying to be or act like that beautiful lady I walked pass on the street, looked at on the train applying her make up, the one in a 'so called relationship' or just knew off had more of a significance than I really did. But then I realised that as I grew older and as you know they say wisdom starts kicking in ...ha! Isn't it funny how we can be so concerned about our outside appearance that we choose to forget about what's taking place on our insides? We wear the amazing shimmer or matte lipsticks, we see the beauty in the black or brown mascara which makes our eyes pop to become engaging. Our nails, done and painted, the perfume we wear captures each persons senses as they walk pass you. Each clothing item compliments the other and most of all your hair says it all. Beauty has spoken from the outside. But what is it saying on your inside? To the person across the street, you are confident, to the lady sitting next to you, she feels you are glamorous, to the guy living next door, you become sexy and to the child heading to school you become a role model. Learning about your true beauty and then knowing it whilst embracing it doesn't mean you need to be stuck up or put other women down that doesn't know yet. After hearing some unpleasant news from my mum last night. My first reaction was Godddd, really I just don't get it. We serve you, try to walk faithful with you & this happens? Now for those who knows a little bit about my family history, knows we had a lot shake my family from my parents health, lack of jobs, finances issues etc...But the only thing we knew how to do is cling unto God. So when you hear me mention Him a lot I express my true relationship with Him, this isn't 'religion' speaking but saved by GRACE speaking.
