'Pushed back against the Wall'

Image
The Storm is OVER, Can I enjoy my life now please? I bet many of you would love to be saying this right about now. But for some of you the reality is this: There comes a time in life when it seems like your back is pushed against the wall, you throw your hands up and say: ok, ok, enough now, no more . Everything has just been thrown at you and you think, please Lord, no more, I can't take it . It almost makes you feel like you are in a circus, assigned a new role: Lady Juggler - As each problem arises you try and deal with each one as much as you can, but then a next ball of problems or issue surfaces, if its not your job, its about your finances, if its not about your finances, its then about your relationships, family issues, health and so forth. To top it all off, someone throws you another ball of their own problems, to only confuse your flow of somewhat trying to endure your own pain. At this point you acknowledge you not only don't have the strengt...

"STOP!"

Image
I know I haven't written a blog for a while, but there has been many things going on at the same time starting from: work, family, friends and just good old life related. But as we all know, time waits for no man, so we got to tackle whatever we got to face and keep on going: So here's today's blog: STOP! What is the first thing that comes to mind when this word is said? To me the word  STOP  can be explained  differently  based on any situation we come across. The Thesaurus defines the word STOP as: Termination, Conclusion, End, Finish. For the above definitions I would like to look at the word STOP in the aspect of: Loneliness, Addictions, Excuses, Pity Parties and Singleness. See the thing is; in all the actions we take in life to compensate for being in a relationship, feeling stronger, bolder or even just confident and fearless can become an obstacle to moving forward. Therefore as funny as it may sound,...

"Beauty Springs Forth in Each of US"

Image
Learning about your true beauty and then knowing it whilst embracing it doesn't mean you need to be stuck up or put other women down that doesn't know yet. Remember a lady which carry's herself with her head lifted up high, walks with integrity and great standards. She is looked on from afar as a positive role model, as a lady that may have been through crazy struggles but has now become strong  and aims only to continue to defeat them all one by one. She may have her mountains to climb, but she knows she is NOT alone and one day she will reach the top, no matter how long it may take. This I call Beautiful. A Lady who can smile and know that even in the mist of the trails, she knows everything will be OK  and she will live to share the good news of overcoming the storms. This I call Beautifully strong. A lady who knows what she has been through, and instead of holding all the accomplishments and battles won to herself, decides to ...

Change: Good or Bad?

Image
Change: /chanj/ Verb: Make or become different Noun: The act or instance of making of becoming different. Welcome to the wonderful world of change. I am sure you all have experienced this action in your life, not once nor twice. Some of you might be facing some sort of change right now. Drastic or as subtle as it could be, you face the fact of deciding whether you will take the step of change or not. Sometimes because of the type of change we are to face, we see it as a big step not wanting to move into, where as on the other hand, it could be seen as something that someone is excited or even looking forward to partake in. This can be seen through the stages of us growing up, maturing and experiencing new things. As life & the world changes so do we, individually, personally, internally and externally. Our beauty changes into maturity where it is no longer the fight to be just 'seen', but to be heard, recognised by our self worth, our identities and most of a...

"Tell me: What's your label?"

Image
W.C. Fields states " It isn't what they call you, it's what you answer to " How many of us dislike the label people give us? It could be in a form of a nick name, an embarrassing moment or even just a mistake. It almost seems like the label aka name is stuck with you for the rest of your life, or is that really the case? According to W.C. Fields above quote, he is saying that even though people may label us whatever they choose too, we don't actually have to claim it. Its when we do claim these labels, it then becomes apart of us. Other labels which you might be familiar with are: Worthless, spoilt  unforgiven, dirty, disowned, failure, stupid, ugly or even one that was said to me before: Weak or emotional. These labels can either make us, damage us (self esteem & thoughts) or even break us. The question is, which one are you going to claim and which one are you going to ignore?  Better yet, is it fair to say that we should disregard all...

"Dear to LOVE again"

Image
LOVE , oh dear not that subject again..... Come on, lets be honest, who's thinking this? The thing is,  it's February meaning Valentines Day fever, soooooooo, no matter how much you may try to run away from this word or topic, you really can't. If the stores don't keep reminding you, then when you walk down the street each couple will do so, as they hold each others hands or give each other a long meaningful hug. Ha ha ha, how crazy can love be? Come on, it's not that bad, really, or is it? Some of you like myself have been scared by this four letter word, whether it was invested into someone through a relationship, family member or just a friendship, that completely didn't work out as you hoped it to be. But I'm here to suggest that you learn to forgive and LOVE again. It's not over until you allow yourself to block out all the care, hope & love others genuinely try to show you. Don't end up feeling lonely like no-on...

"Seeking others approval"

Image
How often do we seek others approval? We work the hardest we can, pray the longest we can pray, try the hardest we can try, only for that person or people to not accept us or appreciate the things we do. The job is either given to the next person who didn't work as hard as you. The guy goes for the girl who looks bigger, taller or shorter than you. What then do you do next? Ladies, at this point we have to realise we can't keep trying to seek men's approval because men (people) are indecisive. One day they are up and the next day they are down. One day they may like you & promise you the world, the next day they can dislike you & all promises once made doesn't exist any more. But for me personally, the only person I have daily learnt to lean on is Jesus Christ . He is unshakeable , unmovable and unconditional . This isn't some religious talk, it's truth from the heart talk. Let's face the facts, at least I know when He promises you...
